Metro Area Home Prices 1Q 2009 - Bottoming Out
Foresight Analytics presents results from its "De-smoothed" version of FHFA's Home Price Index. Results for 1Q 2009 suggest that many of the boom-bust markets are bottoming out, as low prices and affordable mortgage payments attract bargain hunters. Most markets in California and Florida in particular have seen marked improvement.
